Crystal light Serenade

sitting in the summer rain
i watch each drop fall steadily
in every drop i see a dream of life
in every crystal a reflection of you
each is different and all i cherish
thoughts of you most important

my body soaked in the fountain of youth
my head held high soaring in the clouds
my fingers reaching out yet only grasping air
though to the touch you've always been there

each drop is a vision that could come to be
each i studly carefully
waiting for the day the rain will stop
though to say i hate the rain is to speak of travesty
all i wish is to complete the fantasy

to hold you in my arms
to kiss you tenderly
not only just in dreams
but in reality
to show you my love
endless as the sea
to tell you that you mean everything to me
